Z Counter is a local Asian fusion counter-service restaurant in Corpus Christi, Texas, serving dishes like bánh mì, noodle soups, and rice bowls. The goal of this project was to build a more immersive and engaging customer experience around a local restaurant that previously lacked cohesive storytelling across its brand touchpoints.
CLARIFY & SIMPLIFY
I created a streamlined visual system to make the brand feel approachable and recognizable across its customer-facing materials. The goal was to bring consistency to Z Counter while maintaining the personality of a local, casual restaurant.
CONNECT THROUGH STORYTELLING
Cultural storytelling and purposeful copy were incorporated throughout the brand to create a stronger connection with customers. The concept celebrates the food, culture, and personality behind Z Counter while making the experience feel more authentic and memorable.
ELEVATE THE BRAND
I developed a cohesive visual identity across packaging, social media, and other branded touchpoints. The result is a playful, modern brand system that brings personality and storytelling together while maintaining the casual character of a local restaurant.
